Northwest of campus toward Craddock and the hills, on the quieter side of the city. More established than the student belt and more residential in feel, with a mix of older garden communities and small newer builds on tree-shaded streets. Close enough to campus for a five-minute drive, far enough that the semester does not set the tone of the neighborhood. Purgatory Creek Natural Area and its trail system are the local amenity people actually use.
